An event like no other, this will be a chance to see what it is like to enjoy the pre-race activities you can normally get only by attending a major race. Bring the family to this fun-filled event that will include a variety of activities including:
Take the Pit Stop Challenge. See if you have what it takes to be part of a racing pit stop crew and change the tires quickly. Remember, a driver has to be in and out of the pits as fast as possible or he’ll be passed by the other drivers. Do you have what it takes to be part of the pit crew? This interactive game allows you a chance to find out. Compare your time against your friends or family. Free
Drive a race car simulator. It takes fast reflexes and concentration to be a professional race car driver. Match your driving skills against those of your friends. See who is the best race car driver. Or you can just compete to do your personal best . Free
You just won’t get the chance to meet race car drivers in Southeastern Virginia like you will at the Virginia Racing Expo. Geoff Bodine- winner of the 1986 Daytona 500, local favorites Jeff Shiflett, Shawn Balluzzo, Dean Shiflett, Melinda Green King and others will be available to say hi and sign autographs.
